About WattShifters, LLC 

WattShifters, LLC, based in the Richmond, Virginia metropolitan area, was founded in May of 2007 by a group of engineers and successful businessmen who are bringing some exciting technology to market. Our products and systems use state-of-the-art technology to help homeowners and light commercial property owners manage their energy consumption and help small utilities manage their peak demand.

While a relatively new company, our team has decades of experience in the monitoring and controls business along with many successful years of experience in the home control, energy management, utility, and automation markets. This team developed products and systems over the past several years for Invensys that were successfully tested in multiple pilots with utilities across the U.S.  Among the products produced during that time was GoodWatts™, one of the industry's most advanced demand response systems.

In all of the GoodWatts pilots conducted with utilities since 2001 the results exceeded expectations.  GoodWatts produced more verifiable load reduction than expected, and homeowners in the trials were very pleased with the equipment that was installed, along with the ability to fully monitor and control their homes over the internet. We are now bringing our experience together to take the home energy management and demand response system to market.
